Obviously isn't going to happen before unified Dem government, but the time to push for it is now and soon - Dems should be making DC statehood (and PR if they want it) a key plank in the democracy agenda and a litmus test for presidential candidates.

When they get back in power, Democrats need to go all-in on higher education. We need a campaign of reinvestment in public universities across the country that makes the Morrill Land-Grant Act look like nothing by comparison *and* a GI Bill of Rights-style program of tuition grants.

The oligarch class is deeply freaked out by how badly Republicans are losing the midterms, not because of 2027 (Trump already a lame duck) but because of the possibility of 2029 featuring a huge Dem Congressional majority. Look for the run-up to the midterms to be an oppo dump on D Senate candidates

My personal NY Times 10 best ballot, though I went specifically for "10 best shows that SHOULD'VE been on the list." Gleeful comedy Legends of Tomorrow seasons 3-5 is an insanely great run and contains the most dementedly funny fight scene I've ever seen. ("Beeebo WANT CUDDLES!")
