Penis nomenclature is one of the less-discussed hazards of being particular about fanfic. I once read a story that improbably had the exact pairing AND kink I was looking for, only to get clotheslined at the first sex scene by the fact that the text consistently called the lead's penis their "dork".

I remember a coworker in her late twenties saying this on how dating was so difficult. I was not surprised by her first two complaints: general anger issues and having few outside hobbies. I WAS surprised at her mention of how many men apparently don’t wash their hair or butts.

You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
