That you? “During his editorship, as of October 2020, the Press Complaints Commission and its successor IPSO made fourteen rulings against the paper. The publication was also forced to pay damages for libel on several occasions throughout his tenure.”

8:37 pm July 1 2026. Getting a little tired of a forecast of “a few showers” from someone in Toronto when we have been seeing ongoing “training storms” with drenching, FLOODING rains in and around Ottawa since 2pm. #ONStorm

I'm sure this is a long-shot, but if anyone has a gas-powered sump pump they can spare, I've got a family in my neighborhood with water almost up to their basement ceiling who sure could use it. If so, email me at knoxdalemerivale@ottawa.ca

As of today in Ontario, if your driver’s licence is from a jurisdiction that does not have a driver’s licence exchange agreement with Ontario, you need to first pass a G2 road test, then wait at least 12 months to take the G road test. 🚙🚗 #ONpoli 🚘 www.ontario.ca/page/exchang...

If you’re out celebrating today, it’s a good idea to keep water and sunscreen on you. Drink plenty of water and be sure to spend time in the shade throughout the day. Look out for friends, neighbours and older adults living alone who may need extra help in the heat and check in with them.

Well, at least they created "Ai Ambassadors" to help you get used to the slop :-) Over 40yrs the most often used phrase is the "new thing" was going to be "transformative for #education." That is, until it isn't. If you have to say that, then your PR is just bull shite! www.ox.ac.uk/gen-ai

Here in #OttCity I’d guess half our LRT runs thru miles of greenbelt/farmland or is buried along a river, and/or has stations orphaned at highway off-ramps. This was a conscious choice, to hamstring dev because it was cheap. Inept planning, lack of leadership to see value.

highway-adjacent light rail is such a massive policy fail. you lose most walkablity to highway and places where air and noise pollution are awful. it's truck oriented development. climate arson.

Saw something like this just a couple of hours ago on Sussex Driver gets a little past a cyclist in the bike lane, then pulls in front, into the bike lane and stops Red plates They would’ve gotten a pretty significant rap on the window if they did that to me

34 operators looking to be hooked up in the next two years. The demand is 86% of the current demand for the entire city. That's nuts. You're going to have to hook yourself up to the provincial grid on that one.

Sounds just like ON where there’s $20 billion in backlogged repairs to schools across the province. Not to mention healthcare, transit, housing, the destruction of the Ontario science center, a mega spa on the waterfront BB airport expansion But hey buck a beer and a tunnel under the 401…
