Did you know my favorite podcast Skyjacks Courier's Call will be ending on Jan 22? It would mean a lot to me if you gave the show a listen! It's been a joy and an honor to make art for my favorite show for the last 6 YEARS!!!
Important to note that even though we don't have an updated version of the vaccine, the current one is still effective so get your regular fall dose asap! And uh, let's do something about this??
The Daily Beast@thedailybeast.bsky.social · last yr.EXCLUSIVE: The Trump administration will move to pull the COVID vaccine off the U.S. market “within months,” one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s closest associates has told the Daily Beast.
I'm telling y'all. This is how we win. You don't have to firebomb a Walmart (and in fact I would strongly recommend against it) to really jam up the gears of fascism. When you refuse to "verify your gender" in a restaurant bathroom or "show us some ID" in public, you shield the rest of us.

The war against trans people (and I don’t mean “culture war” I mean actual violent war) is fundamentally an act of slow, indirect mass murder meant to terrorize an entire population into obedience to the single dumbest ideology we have: gender. IMAGINE how stupid and evil you have to be to do this!
The Editorial Board@editorialboard.bsky.social · last yr.You cannot bargain with evil.
visa and mastercard deciding what games are allowed to be sold is an apocalyptic level threat to the games industry. phone calls are the highest impact way to help. this is an all hands on deck situation. the enemy got results with 1000 phone calls. we can beat them phone numbers and a script:

Anna Bell@annabellreads.bsky.social · last yr.btw did you know you can subscribe to PBS for only like $5/mo or a $60 one-time for a year donation, and get access to their Passport streaming service? They mail you a little live programming guide and everything, too. The 40-something seasons of NOVA alone are worth it.
Excellent thread that everyone who thinks gender and sex are as simple as you learned in school should read before they ever offer up an opinion of any kind on trans or intersex people
ChristopherE@christopher664023.bsky.social · 2y agoIn 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes. So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.
RIP Johnson Amendment. The IRS states that churches can openly endorse candidates without losing their nonprofit tax exempt status. Apparently, it is considering a family conversation and not political manipulation of campaign finance laws. tinyurl.com/37245ft8

“it matters to try” that’s everything, friends i don’t give one gat damn if the odds are slim for any one particular action we have to try that’s the moral and ethical injunction for all of us living in 2025 we have to try
emily blight 🐦⬛@threnody.northsky.social · last yr.ok. that's all i've got. today's democrats aren't who will liberate us in the end, but the folks nearest institutional power are the ones who can, while things are bad, most easily help hold up the falling sky & buy time. this shit can be both "not enough" & "really matter." it matters to try.🏳️⚧️💜

Fourteen Thousand. The long campaign to dehumanize Palestinians is, fundamentally, about this. To provide cover for the annihilation of a people and their culture, from the youngest to the oldest, to shrugs from the most powerful nations in the world.

KEEP IN MIND: your insurance companies only cover what the FDA & CDC recommend based on their criteria Meaning even if you want to be vaccinated, your insurance will not cover it because of this new mandate. The VAST MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY supports science. This harms ALL OF US
Why did the show start 15 minutes late? Now you know! We still love @ifycomedy.com tho! The livestream of Comedian Clash with stars from Dropout and Smosh are still available for purchase. It was truly a wild and crazy time!
Elon backtracked on DOGE savings goals from $1 trillion to $150 billion. But watchdogs report only $12.6 billion in verifiable savings. That represents just 0.173% of the U.S. federal budget for 2025. We're losing vital government services for basically nothing in return.
The MCDM Time Raiders appear to combine influences from DnD's Githyanki, the Green Marians of Barsoom, and some Mad Max too. Jason Hasenauer seems to have had the most to do with their design. I love that these interdimensional pirates scavenge anachronistic technology from across the Timescape!
