Republican power grabs in Kansas and Missouri are going down in flames with 18-25% of votes reported so far. Missouri's Amendment 4 aimed to make citizen-initiated constitutional amendments practically impossible. Kansas' Amendment 1 was designed to flip the state Supreme Court to ban abortion

One has to realize that "expressing your humanity and POV" happens even if you draw the same generic dragons for money, because the expression of your humanity and POV is in the *process* of creating the artwork of the dragon, not the dragon itself.

"Art" these days means very different things to people. For many, it's something they can contribute to the TTRPG / video game / animation / tv industries - NOT something to express their humanity and POV. They don't want to talk about the human condition, they want to get paid to paint dragons.

This is why I have hope that we can pull off trifectas in Wisconsin and here and Michigan. Putting anti-system candidates at or near the top of the ticket says, "No, this is no normal and we will try new shit to help you and stop this hell."

I'm seeing a lot of Ayy-Eye 2D animated stuff on my Instagram feed lately, trying to look like classic Disney stuff. Besides the obvious things it gets wrong or lacks (ie heart, hookups, etc.), the biggest thing I notice that makes it so evidently not real is lack of intent in the acting.

AIPAC spending $30M+ to defeat Abdul seems to have backfired. If there's one thing less popular in Michigan than Trump or Mike Rogers, it's the war lobby burning tens of millions to defend war crimes in Gaza and push escalation in Iran. Money can't buy voters tired of endless war.

El-Sayed Surges in Michigan Senate Primary Polls Despite Big Spending by AIPAC

The pro-Israel group has spent record amounts to back Haley Stevens against progressive challenger Abdul El-Sayed.

The CEOs aren't smarter than you. They're not making rational, savvy decisions on behalf of shareholders, customers, and employees. They're entitled idiots with their heads up their own asses, endlessly siphoning the fruits of other people's ideas and labor. And they're usually criminals, tbh.
