If you think this is a good publishing experience, just wait until March. We’re announcing a game changing modification to peer review. Makes life better for editors, reviewers & especially authors

This is now published in @biologyopen.bsky.social! It was my first experience with this journal & it was outstanding. Their goal is to publish "rigorously conducted high-quality research across the breadth of biological/biomedical science "1/n journals.biologists.com/bio/article/...

I'm thrilled to announce that our paper describing Marigold, a free machine learning-based webapp for zebrafish behavioral analysis, is officially published! Marigold features a user friendly graphical user interface to enable training of a neural network for analyzing behavioral recordings.

Excited to see this out! A fantastic collaboration with Kirsten Sadler, spearheaded by Nouf and Talhah! Big thanks to DMM for highlighting our work as an Editors Choice, as well as the First Person Interview. 😀🔬🐟

🧪 Sadler, Cox & colleagues create a comparative resource to help make decisions on which method to use to analyse lipid droplets in #zebrafish larval livers. 🐟 Read the summary: https://journals.biologists.com/dmm/article/17/11/dmm052204/363211/Zebrafish-streamline-the-way-to-understanding

A tg(fabp10a;CAAX-EGFP) zebrafish larva at 7 days post fertilization, stained with Nile Red to mark lipid droplets (magenta), with GFP-marked hepatocytes in the liver. This sample was fixed and imaged with confocal microscopy.

Thrilled to see this paper out!! 🧪 Spatial transcriptomics of brain aging and 'spatial aging clocks' identify cells that have pro-aging or pro-rejuvenating effects on their neighbors! Huge CONGRATS to Eric Sun and all authors! Fantastic collaboration with @jameszou.bsky.social! rdcu.be/d33uQ 🧵
