honestly can't stress enough, as a former family law attorney, how depressingly common Max Miller's behavior and words are, right down to the petty fixation on custody procedure and rules when faced with allegations of shocking violence.

Rep. Max Miller: "When I was reported for child abuse of my daughter for a broken collarbone, my daughter was in my ex-wife's care 9 out of the last 11 days and she took her to the emergency room, which is a contempt violation from our shared parenting plan."

of course at the time it was clear that the stuff with Liz Cheney was trying to ensure said defectors would vote for the anti-trump project instead of merely staying home, and of course the reward for giving MAHA any power is plainly visible this very month in the form of plagues and diseases

people comparing courting MAHA to Liz Cheney are very close, except for the part that MAHA is a significant sliver of the electorate and every never trump republican worth having has already defected

there is an entire industry of people who give their opinion or predict how things are going to go and their entire job is to be correct are they ever correct? rarely. are there repercussions for being wrong, the thing they are being paid not to be? haha no, no there are not

It’s terrifying that deranged chaos agent RFK Jr admitted on national tv that he has no idea how to stop a future pandemic and what’s worse is that he truly doesn’t give a fuck either way. We went from having top scientific medical experts leading US Health to this looney basket.

Good thread about the history of streetcars as public transportation. I often see really clickbaity "transit" accounts do comparison maps between the early 20th century and the present, saying "look how much transit got wiped out" and...it largely didnt get wiped out. It became busses.

Jake Berman@lostsubways.com · 3d ago

this is not true. there was no conspiracy. it didn't matter whether the streetcars were publicly owned (seattle, detroit) or private (los angeles, atlanta). a thread (because i wrote a whole-ass book on this): 1/?

This is the author's evidence of "the left" hiding "positive" things that Trump has done -- the networks refusing to air a speech in which he spread malicious lies about our democratic institutions. Doesn't name a *single* actual good thing Trump has supposedly done that's been hidden from people.

The most recent snub came on July 16, when Trump tried to deliver a national address on election integrity. ABC News and NBC News ignored it entirely. CBS News aired a few minutes. Why?

Opinion: The most powerful sword the left wields against Trump and is omission. Selective silence. Hide the positives, and the American people never hear them.

Max Miller is the platonic ideal of a MAGA politician lies, blackmails, beats wife & daughter (& previous GFs), blames Democrats for everything, takes zero responsibility for anything, drives drunk, gaslights his ex & says she has mental illness Oh also ask him what he did on January 6, 2021

New in PN: The right-wing bubble seals in the GOP with Max Miller "When you become the party of Fox News, you become a party whose candidates have no idea how to exist outside of Fox. That's why the GOP's fascist propaganda may, for once, be not a life raft but an anchor when the blue wave hits."
