He's wrong about virtually everything in this post, except for one thing. Equality Ohio DID surrender trans people, like Amy Acton did. When your org capitulates to the point anti-trans leaders celebrate like this, you know you did wrong. Ashamed to ever have had a good relationship with the org.

This statement from @EqualityOhio is the ultimate sign of surrender from them.
They know their positions are politically toxic, because no one wants transgender procedures done on kids, and no one wants boys in girls sports. EQOH is just too scared to press Democrats to take clear stances.
They're hoping a wink and a nod will let @amyactonoh skate by in the election, without having the crazy LGBT issues drag her down like a ton of bricks.
It should be simple: does Amy think minors should have access to "gender-affirming care" and double mastectomies? Isn't this the entire reason EQOH exists?
Equality Ohio has updated Dr. Amy Acton's score from an 'A' to a 'B' to acknowledge harm to transgender communities.
Dr. Acton made harmful remarks related to transgender people back on June 30, 2026. In response, we placed her score under review and requested that she engage directly with Equality Ohio and transgender community leaders. Members of her campaign engaged with us, but the meeting we requested with Dr. Acton has not happened yet.
The Acton campaign has updated their website to include LGBTQ anti-discrimination to their campaign platform. We have confirmed the campaign has met with LGBTQ leaders and parents of transgender children.
Her campaign also wrote to the press that she "will always stand up for Ohioans, including the LGBT community. As governor, she is committed to standing up to discrimination and ensuring all Ohioans receive equal protection under the law." She went on to affirm that healthcare decisions should be between a patient and their provider.
We have not been able to confirm meaningful engagement directly between their campaign and transgender communities.
The 'B' now reflects the concern about support of trans Ohioans, alongside her broader record and positions. A 'B' means "insufficient record but supportive public statements."
Dr. Acton's comments didn't happen in a vacuum. They're part of a broader pattern of politicians …

people really don’t understand the evil, self-fulfilling prophecy manifested by involuntary psychiatric treatment. Anyone who understands the implications has a strong incentive to avoid seeking help unless they are desperate, which reinforces the bias of providers and our belief in involuntary care

my experience with my therapist and eating disorder coach has made it extremely hard for me to want to try again even though I feel I do need help and support no understanding of dysphoria whatsoever, threatening me with inpatient on weeks where I felt I had actually improved, all with a big smile

I just *love* wildly swinging between omnicidal hatred for the rapist "civilization" of Man and total despair as my inner dialogue lambasts me for being just as pathetic and disgusting as all the other cattle, it feels *great* and is *totally* sustainable! 🫠

I will add pressure to this by saying that any company that claims to not hold onto your personal data after verifying you? They're lying. Ive been nitro free since the first time they tried this, voice how you feel with your wallet people. Make them really feel that squeeze.

i'm of the opinion that the no kings shit was just a way to get a bunch of people entered into the database under the auspices of protesting and "speaking truth to power", given that nothing has fundamentally changed after all that mass mobilization

Flock taught cops how to monitor No Kings Protests, you can see it in this video. More here: www.404media.co/flock-taught...

An example of this is the recently described "well deserved rest" of the 5000 US navy personel involves a week in Pattaya for "R&R" from media... with no mention of the violence that will inflict on Asian service workers that live there, or the background, history of such 'R&R' violence historically

Oftentimes the Western attitude towards non-Westerners is so baked into their worldviews they don't even notice it. But it's very obvious, when the majority of anti-war sentiment coalesces around "throwing away the lives of troops", that the lives of those outside the metropole don't matter at all.
