We have higher rates of kidney and bladder problems compared to the general population, and historically rather than address this, medicine has chosen to either ignore it or blame our healthcare. Nope, turns out marginalization just destroys bodies. Quelle surprise.

People don't really realize how wild west the emergency care was in the beginning. You had ER docs on twitter literally talking about they were trying to figure out supportive care on the fly. When should we intubate, when should we use corticosteroids, etc.

Can’t say this works for me. There was no legally salient “finding.” There is a classified executive branch opinion which says that the executive branch is acting legally. I’ll leave you to draw the obvious conclusion.

If Democrats have already agreed that it’s fine to have the military bomb drug dealers then what chance do we have against martial law? Why would it suddenly be bad for the military to kill them as soon as they’re within the US borders? And why not murderers too? Or rioters?

this is a weird line to draw since the liberal position (correct) is that it's not reasonable to summarily execute people in international waters even if they're involved in drug trafficking and the conservative position is that you must do that even if you kill a bunch of innocent people too
