I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.

I have tons of cheap poly/cotton blended stuff and it holds up...fine? I had to donate most of my cheap suits because I'm simply not a 'slim fit' anymore.

4/4 So now my undergrad methods syllabus has 2 weeks on how to use Excel. We start from the ground floor ("This is a cell. This is a row. This is a column.) Students LOVE getting this material. More than a few get visibly mad in class that no one had ever taught them this stuff before.
Things I and friends have done to calm an angry abusive man from further escalating and killing us or our children: -Smiled -Kept normal schedules in order not to trigger a fight -Appeased with kind acts (cooking, cleaning, favors) -Forced friendly tones and words

I was like, eight-years-old, when my older sister calm explained to me that saying "it was just a joke" does not, actually, work as an excuse for making fun of her.

Not liking that your initials spell "HUG" is just such a delightful American boy trait.
We've had a number of older pedestrians and cyclists killed by drivers recently in Massachusetts, and something I've noticed is how those deaths are treated even more dismissively than usual because of ageism and ableism. People of *all* ages and abilities deserve safe mobility.
