Again, bigots will never choose bigotry-lite over the real thing. You're not going to win them but you're going to drive away people who otherwise would have voted for you. And this year -- when voters most of all want "a fighter" in Congress -- running ads about how you will not fight is idiotic.

Not sure if people know Wakefield was trying to sell a competing measles vaccine when he made up his fraudulent study about the MMR. It was only after that failed (because he is a complete fraud) that he started grifting off opposing all vaccines. It’s all just a grift. Antivaxxers are their marks.
