I cringe at sex scenes in movies. I have never watched a sex scene that was actually imperative to the story. It always makes me feel like the producer is working out some sort of fetish.

Im pretty sure sex exists in art because sex is a thing that exists, if you can only see it as "not imperative to the story" I think you need to reconsider if you actually consider film as an artistic medium or just as a product to be consumed as efficiently as possible.
