There are trans adults who never had to go through the wrong puberty. There are trans teens going to prom as their real selves. There are t4t couples raising kids together. As much as they are trying to destroy trans existence, especially trans kids, we've come so far and we aren't going back!

Being queer. I know things are hard right now, but sex was illegal in many states, marriage didn't exist, AIDS was a death sentence, being out in high school was unthinkable

A really good thread! And from a trans man perspective, it is fascinating how GCs see us as lost girls pre-beard and hulking brutes drunk on women’s tears and male privilege after. (We may or may not be allowed to use a bathroom based on the phenomenon I call β€œSchrΓΆdinger’s pussy”)

Let's talk about JK Rowling's 'bearded men'... I want to vent something that's been on my mind: The way transphobic groups and individuals are also actively homophobic. I've experienced it first hand, and know many others have too. 1/

Of late, I've been coming to the synthesis conclusion that the broad-scale panic among parent groups about trans kids, queer content, accurate historical accounts of the U.S., and curriculum is that the pandemic forced parents to interact with and engage with their kids and they didn't like them.

Been thinking about this in the context of education a lot. Right when the pandemic started I was trying to a long piece on the integration of segregation academies and how homeschooling and β€œtravel ball” are related

Just tried to look up the Ordovician jawless fish with the funny face and these are the things I searched for and got nothing because it was spelled SO wrong: -sacombabsis -sacombibabsis -sacobibastis The correct answer was: -sacabambaspis

Illustration of Sacabambaspis, a jawless fish from the Ordovician period.

A.i. use is addictive. That's exactly what the euphoria he describes sounds like. It doesn't free up time to spend on other things, in encroaches on your time by making you want to use it more. I've had multiple clients who use A.i. describe this exactly, and their work-life balance is in shambles.

More context here, with his response, but still… big oof. www.reddit.com/r/nerdfighte...

Reminder that we published an extensive interview with a former editor at The New York Times who laid out, in detail, how the paper's pushing of anti-trans bigotry was both very intentional and directed from the very top of the organization. The NYT plays a direct and major role in trans genocide:
