We're up to four fires in #Spokane area though if I had time & energy I'd argue #2 is likely a spot of #1 and #4 is almost certainly a spot of the #3. Regardless of how we count, two fires have crossed the river. This is an absolute hellscape. Spokane *city* is burning.

Holy crap. Level 3 (GO NOW!) zone now includes urban Spokane, south of Francis to Wellesley. Level 2 (GET SET!) zone now extends east of Division. Not to be alarmist, but at this rate, it’s not inconceivable that the Old Trails Fire merges with the Fairview Fire.

If somebody’s trying to tell you some other app is a more secure alternative to Signal, they are ignorant, malicious, or trying to sell you something and you should not take them seriously. Every other app is going to have the same human problems and worse security. Ask every reputable cryptographer
