Developments in the Hunter story were, after 2021, generally covered with the exact same scandalous tone and cadence as reporting on like, Watergate (because they didn't like Biden and wanted scandals to hurt him)
I'm not even getting into the science of it because who fucking cares. It's a non-issue that is unlikely to ever affect you. The first sports ban was Idaho in 2020 and nobody gave a fuck before then. Hell, in 2016, the country revolted when North Carolina passed a bathroom ban. It's so dumb.

The trans women in sports panic has got to be one of the GOP's most successful manufactured culture war campaigns. Somehow they got a lot of people who would otherwise say they support trans rights to somehow fear "fairness" in sports. It's a non-issue.
Cases I argued are published a few times in a minor state level legal reporter for cases that are likely to be cited maybe four times in the future. That’s the best I get.

I bet people underestimate how far over the line this is. The amount of shocked Pikachu face I get that you can't get rid of student loans in bankruptcy is wild. Almost universally the response is: that cannot be right. Like immigration people assume poverty is a way more rational system than it is

a bench warrant for defaulting in consumer debt litigation is theoretically procedurally valid. it's just so insane that even the American judicial system generally does not do it. Roger Marshall did it 81 times.

I've literally seen the moment where it clicks for a skeptical conservative federal judge, and I've read the opinions that result. if it were not protected by a bunch of different regrettable immunities, there would be FedSoc judges trying to find a way to make Roger Marshall's conduct illegal.
Even @labourlist.bsky.social, which is covering every aspect of Labour Conference in Liverpool, hasn't run a story covering what happened at Women's Conference. Indeed I challenge you to find a *single* story about this boycott written after the event in *any* news outlet anywhere. Remarkable.

Robin Moira White@robinmoirawhite.bsky.social · 4d agoThe Labour Party’s women’s conference on 26/9/26 was an embarrassing farce, with only 200 delegates of the 1,000 normal attendance (no major unions) in protest of the Labour Party’s shameful abandonment of trans people following the legally absurd ruling of the Supreme Court in FWS in April 2025.
The way Trump is burning our international credibility to the ground is really upsetting.
