When i was 18 there were 2 daily flights to taiwan from seattle. Now there are 5 (this is my most important measure for how good or bad air travel is) Also planes are wayyyy quieter now than even in my childhood, anyone remember what a DC 10 sounds like? Lmao

This is one of the many reasons a growing number of Seattle progressives are urging voters to no longer just default to the Stranger - they don’t know what they’re talking about and are no longer worthy of the trust people placed in them.

The statewide results are completely different, which makes their analysis inaccurate. Amazing that no one there caught this.

The neighborhood with the highest wildfire risk, incidentally, is Grandview-Thorpe in the Latah Valley (southweast Spokane), where multiple large new subdivisions are planned. These developments should be stopped. Let them transfer or sell the development rights to properties in the urban core.

some of us took the implicit premise of "vote blue no matter who," that after the primary majorities and margins are more important than intra-partisan factional disputes, pretty seriously and it increasingly looks like that group did not include a lot of the people yelling "vote blue no matter who"
