I've been at plenty of city council meetings where kind young people demurely advocated for life saving infrastructure and entitled wealthy homeowner NIMBYs screamed and whined. Guess who has won more at city council historically?

We've been asking drivers nicely to not kill us for years and in return we get treated as hysterical, entitled assholes. So we may as well just flat-out demand the safer streets we all deserve.
Fuck Platner of course, but the response from centrists is laughable after they championed Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Andrew Cuomo, Eric Swalwell, etc. They only care about women being assaulted if they can use it to be smug politically
