It’s true. The Spokesman-Review has been doing incredible work and it's transitioning right now to nonprofit ownership. There’s never been a better time to subscribe: spokesman.com/subscribe
I've been asking reporters in Spokane how we can help and everyone says subscribe, subscribe, subscribe. The Spokesman-Review has been doing unreal coverage of the fires: www.spokesman.com
Good god. Subscribe to The Spokesman-Review! spokesman.com/subscribe
I was on the scene that day and watched people flag police down to talk to someone walking away from the fire. My law enforcement sources confirmed to me this evening my description of the person I saw was consistent with the suspect. Here’s the story so far: www.spokesman.com/stories/2026...
The devastation is unimaginable. I moved here 3 years ago knowing Spokane would be my home. I can’t explain how horrific this is. “It’s like a war zone,” people told me.
When ppl were furious with Jenny Durkan it was for reasons like "she called a curfew that started 10 minutes ago then had the police department teargas immediately an entire neighborhood of thousands of ppl." Not the same, not even remotely covered the same by legacy media. Smarten up!
This is a good summary of the status of the complex of three fires now being called the “Spokane Area Fires.” – About 8,000 acres and more than 600 structures burned – Autumn Lane (the most rural of the three fires, burning between Spokane and Deer Park) seems to be the most active this morning.
More than 600 (likely homes) burned in and around Spokane County yesterday. The devastation is incomprehensible www.spokesman.com/stories/2026...
Yeah, don’t let the hatch close on you on your way down, fucker.
If you haven't signed this petition, please take a moment to. Thanks!
Too many people have been killed on Seattle’s streets in recent weeks. These tragedies are preventable. Tell Seattle leaders to improve intersection safety, require side guards on large trucks, and prioritize Vision Zero. Take Action: actionnetwork.org/letters/plea...
Do people know that there’s a little ramp for ducks to get into the fountain at UW? Because there is a little ramp for ducks to get into the fountain at UW.
For every petition like this, I believe Bicycle Weekends should extend an additional weekend into September and then October.
So the bikelash on Lake Washigton Boulevard has reached a middle.
This shit with Taylor Farms is exactly what I’m talking about when I say you may say you “don’t do politics,“ but politics are more than happy to do you. The microbes political bribes got out the door and into your intestines don’t particularly care that you find it all beneath you.
Holy hell Katie Wilson is on fire here.
Seattle, the World Cup brought possibility. Let’s build on it

A) People who don't or cannot drive value their time. It is wasted by drivers creating traffic jams & opposing improvements to car alternatives, & cut short by drivers killing them. B) I have explored many places without a car. You don't need to explore everywhere & it's often better if you don't.

People forget, but Occupy Seattle helped create a lot of awareness about predatory banking, spurring many Seattleites to transfer their banking to credit unions.
Seattle residents keep jumping to credit unions
Nielsen data shows a record 35% of Seattle households use a credit union as their primary bank, a sustained exodus sparked by 2011 megabank fees, writes FYI Guy.

Friends, please speak with a doctor if you spend more than 3 nights per week covered in moss, floating through the forest, whispering dead languages, and being the reason a forest is considered haunted.
