Every time I click a news article only to be hit by a paywall I think about how every conspiracy website is absolutely free to read.

Yes, and also, some things are NOT complicated, morally, ethically or legally, but the contexts in which they exist are so massively clusterfucked that any statement of that not complicated value can be challenged by both sincere and insincere alike, for different reasons, but with the same result.

I've been of this opinion for quite some few years myself, but phrased a bit differently: The more you know, the higher the odds that the answer for any given question on any given topic begins with "Well, it's complicated..."

What are you running from, Henry? What, or who, are you running to, Henry? Who is your Delilah, Henry? How close is your fire, Henry?

Find yourself writing this and think "God, this isn't even for my extremely wizard-centric day job."

*sigh* a book can still be queer even if the queer character doesn't fuck anyone or pursue a romantic relationship with anyone. the book does not become less queer or not queer enough. queerness is not defined by our actions. "queer" encompasses more than sex and romance.
