Brittany Ellich@brittanyellich.com · 2d agoThis. I don't think anyone is really anti-AI. They're anti-the-companies-pushing-AI. LLMs have some really incredible use cases. They can be assistive technologies, help with mental load, and allow you to focus more on the present than an endless stream of tasks or your phone.

Are we just doing biopics for anyone now? Saw a trailer for 'I Play Rocky', the biopic of Sylvester Stallone, and I just...who cares? Who asked for that? Growing up, Stallone was just the guy you got when Schwarzenegger wasn't available, and he's not done anything particularly wondorous since then.

This is good advice for anyone. If a person or situation seems off leave. I once had a doctor's appointment and when he came in I could tell he was upset and agitated. Did I leave? No. Did I have to repeat a painful medical procedure because the first doctor fucked up? Yes. Be smarter than me.
