The much higher efficiency of the Montreal bike share system compared to Toronto irks me. Yes mostly downstream of better bike infrastructure, but that also irks me.

I do not understand why the Etobicoke Centre Councillor thinks his local residents don't care about the waterfront in this city. The Islands, Harbourfront, Sunnyside, Humber Bay, Marie Curtis; we visit these areas for recreation, many love the beach; we are not ok with Fords actions Cllr Holyday

Our streetcars truly have their own set of problems. At least this Mayoralty is starting to address them. So much that needs to be done, it's a multi-variable problem: parking, traffic volume, single switches, TTC ops & lack thereof, photo-fines, far side stops...

The only parts of Toronto's transit system that are "at capacity" are pieces of the bus network in suburban areas where they feed into the subway and where the solutions to the capacity problem are the easiest. There's nowhere in Toronto that should turn away development because of transit.

Background: the province is effectively forcing Toronto to allow density near transit. Saxe is opposed to this happening in the Annex, the best-connected neighbourhood in the city. She is supporting heritage measures that will interfere with development, and now this.

Are voters really happy to hear "I opposed it but couldn't stop it"? Who does that satisfy?
