I guess I always had a vague sense that executives don't know what the people who don't report directly to them actually do every day, but yeah Covid made it clear that they have no clue whatsoever. And moreover think everyone "works" like they do (endless meetings).

I know that "politically homeless" is a useless/red flag phrase because it's never used by people who actually want to change the world. They want a politics that reflect their boutique opinions like it's a consumer choice. They care more about their intellectual comfort than solving problems.
