The idea that we can't ever express relief and joy at the deaths of horrible figures who intentionally chose to make our lives hell is a weapon of the gentry. "But they were a person, with a family." So was everyone they gleefully destroyed, and they matter a hell of a lot more.

Telling that the Dems are falling over themselves to ditch actually working class, trans and queer folks while salivating over whatever gentry failson slapped on a pair of carhartts and shouted a slur this week.
I find it moving that Lynch's legacy in the queer community is now forever tied to the phrase "fix your hearts or die". It has become a rallying cry. It is bigger than him. It is bigger than Twin Peaks. It is beautiful.
