The lies and misinformation spread about Islam in recent times started with 9/11. The community is under increasing attack. This level of hate is ignored by the government, media and authorities. Where’s the Cobra meeting? Words of reassurance? Funding for security, so they can feel safe?

The funniest - and least discussed - aspect of this is that Farage, having reportedly told RefUK he'd only lead them if compensated for the £1m a year income he had outside politics, pocketed their five million, then kept earning from outside interests at the same rate anyway. He scammed even them.

Turns out this deal was struck mid-May (confirmed by RefUK) and facilitated by Farage's other big donor, convicted felon 'Posh' George Cotrell. 🧐
There's always been some dishonesty in politics across the political spectrum, but the current level of dishonesty from RW people talking about migration is unprecedented

Cool use of ChatGPT means invading your kids privacy through AI because you’re afraid to talk with them. The privacy impact of AI needs talking about much, much more. Lots of other fears are discussed, but privacy is (as so often) forgotten.

Ceuta is in Africa. The Moroccans have been returned but on X & elsewhere ReFuK is still spouting Russian destabilisation propaganda. Given one of their lot is in prison as a traitor for Russia you’d think they’d be careful about spreading Russia’s BS. Questions should be asked.

Good points raised re Infantino & WorldCup. It’d be a complete sell off, more half time show etc. Ticket prices were insane too at this WorldCup . He may get support from small FIFA members wanting to benefit from revenue. It’ll require promises for support outside commercialisation.

After 17 and a half years today is my last day working in the NHS. I've worked under 12 Health secretaries. Every single one made it harder for us to look after patients and pursued an agenda of privatisation and outsourcing. The NHS thrives in spite of, not because of it’s political leadership.
I think it demonstrates the level of genuine power billionaires hold in the world that Amnesty International are now more scared of calling out human rights abuses caused by JK Rowling than those caused by numerous global dictators.
Just to be clear, when people like Musk say ‘Christian’, they just mean white.

150,000 marched yesterday in London for trans rights. Opened the Sky News app. Scrolled and scrolled. Nothing. BBC News app. Nothing. Guardian app. Nothing. This is what actual silencing looks like.
