Piker should know that’s not how tropes work. Something can be offensive to one group and not to another. And this word has been used for centuries to attack Jews.
One of the really dangerous things happening with the GOP right now is you have a whole lot of people who have no idea how to run in a competitive general election having to do exactly that. All these people's infrastructure is built for seeing off RW whackadoodles in primaries.

This is disgusting, yes. But the irony is, if the U.S. were a communist country, Hasan Piker would not be able to say most of what he says. There would be no political free speech, and you definitely could not speak out against the government.
