I’m here at the Fish Hatchery encampment in St. Paul as the city prepares to sweep the camp. St. Paul cops are stopping cars coming in but there are dozens of people that have gathered here in anticipation of the sweep in order to help camp residents and document what the city does here today.

'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)

Reminder that CoreCivic is an evil company getting rich off human trafficking. Their business interest is in keeping as many people detained as possible. And the CEO's last name is quite literally SWINDLE.
Prison industry giant CoreCivic announced Monday that it has finalized a five-year federal contract to reopen a long-shuttered prison in Appleton that will now hold immigrant detainees.
Mosquitoes collected in Carver and Hennepin Counties last week have tested positive for West Nile virus. This is the first positive sample for Carver County this year. The overall risk for West Nile virus is LOW so far in 2026 compared to previous years.
