Told @cnn both sides are under pressure and can't sustain this conflict indefinitely. Iran has borne greater pain, but its tolerance is higher because it sees itself as fighting a defensive war. But Americans' pain tolerance is lower because most opposed the war from the outset.
It gets worse. Taxpayers contribute to fire departments and police departments and yet they hope they'll never need them!
