well, it's more "is Zyhir Hope and River Ryan worth more than two months of Skubal, a low-probability playoff race, and a comp pick when he leaves in free agency?" I think the answer is still "yes," but it's not quite as obvious as "trade him or Skubal leaves for nothing" either
