I mean, adjusted for inflation a plane ticket from New York to London in 1980 would cost about $4,500 dollars today. It's not that air travel has got worse. It's democratised. If you pay the 'old' price in modern money you basically get the same, if not better, experience than you did then.

It remains illegal to discriminate against trans people or anyone you think might be trans. Inter alia, we retain the human rights to privacy.
For what it's worth, if you think Vance et al have lost weight due to this guy's diet, I've got a delightful Dutch swingbridge to sell you. They're all on GLP-1s but they want you to think it's a combination of willpower and Man Food. (I'm sure he IS shitting better than ever now. Kraut has fibre.)

A gravedigger and his family, 1962. We think of the 1960s as basically the modern day, but millions of British people still lived like this. Gravediggers were probably paid quite well, too, compared to other manual workers. This is the reality behind the "corned beef of my childhood" nostalgia slop.
I'm imagining a Telegraph reader, munching cornflakes while perusing this. "Those Goddamn lefty extremists besmirching Rod's memory. Who amongst us has not told an un-PC joke or, erm, taken a swipe at his pregnant partner...' [awkwardly gulps cereal] 'or fantasized about seducing Y10 pupils...?'

BBC Scotland is running a propaganda campaign pushing the idea that Scotland's cities - in particular Glasgow - need English style elected mayors. This is despite the Labour policy being comprehensively rejected in the Holyrood election. The colonial propaganda started in June.👇
