This should be so obvious that it doesn’t need to be said, but given what kind of weekend it’s been on here, apparently it does: If you don’t want old rapists running the world, in office, in the board room, making decisions for all of us get comfortable with “ruining” young rapists’ lives

My MP has plenty to say about 'controlling immigration.' Nothing about masked men blocking Dover, or RNLI volunteers hounded into hiding that I can find. If intimidating lifeboat volunteers isn't extremism, what is?

As far as I know, there isn't any RNLI presence in Worcestershire, but despite being a land-locked ex sailor I still support them. I'm an offshore member since Farage stirred things up years ago. Here's my letter for what it's worth.

A letter to MP Bradley Thomas expressing concern about anti-migration protests that disrupted Dover port and the closure of Portsmouth RNLI station. The letter argues that RNLI volunteers deserve respect for risking their own safety to save lives without discrimination, criticises the harassment of lifeboat crews, raises concerns about intimidation tactics and perceived double standards in the treatment of different protest movements, and asks the MP to publicly condemn interference with life-saving operations.

80 year-olds with pro-Palestine signs: arrested as terrorists. Greens planning to block a road, to highlight an existential crisis: sent down for years. Masked far-right thugs blocking roads and ports, using intimidation, obstruction & threatening behaviour: no arrests. The real two-tier policing.

Getting quite sick of being expected to tolerate far-right agitators trying to intimidate people by putting up flags with violence last year and now blockading key transport links, while the police and government do nothing.
