There is no safety net for creators/staff or fans from sexual harassment at many publishing venues, so Image secretly working with him in private for years is shocking but not surprising. Just because it's a place that publishes creative owned work doesn't mean they won't act as craven as most corps

I honestly believe someone at image thinks if they can test the water with Warren Ellis, there's the possibility of making money by publishing Neil Gaiman again.

My favourite Redford film is Three Days of the Condor, where he's meant to be playing a nerdy, introverted, academic back-office kind of guy and he just cannot help looking like he could bring a female elephant to orgasm from sixty paces

I think the problem is that there is a internet monoculture now for dumb guys where they all say the same dumb stuff but back in the day you’d have bespoke dumb guy opinions like how your uncle thinks Buddy Holly faked the crash
I am low-key obsessed with the gentle monsterising of Judith here. My beloved Artemisia Gentileschi and Caravaggio both have her being serene and calm but here she's almost Medusa-esque. I just think it's cool

That's gonna help me orient myself as I start to build up the layers. Also helps keep all the moths consistent. People tell me they like suits but don't have occasions to wear one. You can wear a suit to court, funerals, and religious services. Doesn't have to be your trial, friend's burial, or religion you believe in. Go to random trials, attend a stranger's burial, join multiple religions. Try it sometime.
