Look how simple those questions are and it all falls apart. Now look at the questions media outlets usually opt to ask, instead.

Smol Paul and his new sidekick Smolla Paula: the wobbly monochrome partnership in crime we all need right now. Thank you so much for contributing to our fundraiser so we could make this happen -- I can't stop laughing at their little faces!
Dad’s been fully admitted to the hospital now. Theres a biopsy to be done and strong antibiotics and painkillers. Hes very confused and I hope it’s just the illness/meds. I’m not sure I’m prepared for both parents to have dementia.
In a world where so many people are absolutely awful, live your life so you earn an obituary like this one.

My book, and my Edinburgh show, is full of serendipity. Here’s something that happened today. I have 5000 of these flyers to give out. The first one went to a man called Tom from Washington DC and you’ll never guess who he went to school with - Abraham Zapruder’s granddaughter
Today is the day that *any* man who wants to go in the women's toilets just has to claim to be a trans man and everybody's got JK Rowling to thank.
#JeremyVine When trans men start entering women's toilets, this whole thing blows up This culture war crap is a nonsense
If you are in Edinburgh, go and see @tpneenan.bsky.social One of the nicest and funniest people I've ever met. I realise that isn't extreme enough as a recommendation, so I will add that he is also a hard drinker, degenerate gambler and dandy scoundrel.
First, you tell me to get a hobby; now it's an “appropriate hobby”.
Ew, she let a wife beater who kept writing fantasies about molesting children into her house? What a weird flex!
we don’t execute people here in the UK, that’s true, but I think here we can make an exception
Andrew Tate’s lawyer is claiming they will be executed in the U.K. Unfortunately MAGAs will believe anything so just to be really clear, there is no such thing as the death penalty in the U.K. and there hasn’t been for many decades.
The people saying don't speak ill of dead wrong'uns are just scared because they thought being dead meant you got away with it, and now they've got to fix what they've done.
Congrats to everyone who got a shoutout in the Telegraph today, although I don't know where they got the idea that Bluesky is a place where people are kind to each other. This is site is not kind. This is a PvP server where you get randomly matched with an American who has misunderstood your joke.
I was wondering why I’d got 19 clickthroughs from The Daily Telegraph…

EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.
Thanks to everyone who has voted in this so far - very interesting battle at the top right now that could go any number of ways. TMBG or XTC? The Colourfield or Colourbox? Chas N Dave or Ric N Jen? Neil Innes or Napalm Death? Only you can decide! noiseboxradio.com/anthems/
I’m reading Withered Hill by @davidmbarnett.bsky.social right now, so these are a big old nope from me!
Corn dollies or corn mothers are a form of traditional European straw work made as a harvest custom. Various scholars have theorized that they began as a pagan ritual to give the spirit of the grain a place to live for the winter after the harvest made it temporarily homeless. #WyrdWednesday
Well, that’s dad in hospital for the night. Waiting for MRI and blood results now. Mum’s had a decent day but is now mad at me for making her go to bed. There will be sleep tonight!
A wave of tiredness has just hit me and brought with it a headache. Excellent.
Absolutely adored this as a kid.

And that’s me little dad on the way to the hospital, the GP can’t do anything for him until he has the MRI. Mum doesn’t know that we’re her daughters, she knows us, but she thinks she’s too old to have kids our age. Mum believes she’s 26 today. Sisters gone with dad, I’m watching Disney with mum.
