Kad bērnībā slikti uzvedos, mani lika kaktā. Kaktā bija jauki, jo īpaši ziemās, jo kakts bija pie siltās krāsns. Un no kakta ļoti labi varēja redzēt televizoru. Pēc tam es uzzināju, ka arī Monopolā cietums ir lieliska vieta, jo jāizlaiž gājieni un tāpēc nav jāmaksā īres. Tā tie noziedznieki mācās.

i think the big data center backlash has a lot to do with technology getting worse, costing more, building a surveillance state, destroying the environment, owned by a class of wealthy elite that coalesced behind the fascist regime that made clear they’d sacrifice humanity for their own power growth

points at sign: THE GAMES INDUSTRY’S CUSTOMER IS THE STOCK MARKET, NOT THE GAMER Live service games are seen as ‘worth the risk’ because when one blows up (Roblox, Fortnite, GTA Online) it makes so much money that it covers all previous failures and more. What gamers say is irrelevant to this.

@alanahpearce.bsky.social As someone who knows more about the gaming industry, do the higher ups just don’t listen anymore or do they just have selective hearing? Do we need to throw physical money at them and tell them “we want just a single player game, no multiplayer.”

Russian Colonel Oleg Sokolenko, the military commissar of Rostov's Pervomaysky and Proletarsky districts, has died after falling from a window of his own apartment. Sokolenko was found unconscious beneath his apartment building with injuries consistent with a fall. He later died from his injuries.
