Matthew Sheffield@matthew.flux.community · 2d agoThe message "they want to inspect your daughter's genitals" would be astoundingly effective. Which is also why conservative Democrats who want to cave won't say it. In general, they would rather lose and be comfortable than win and have to push hard.
And the people pushing it through get to define what's "harmful to children". Guarantee you, within a year of this act's passing, anything outside of the straight, white tradwife lifestyle will be legally considered "harmful to minors". This is censorship, pure and simple.

The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.
