You know what, I will vote to support resupplying our weapon stash after all the public health jobs lost since 2008 are refilled and increased by 20%, medicare for all passes, and all USAID is restored plus 20%.

"Pronouns used to be a funny joke, Hank. Until the government tried to tell me I couldn't use them anymore. So now I'm adamant about making sure trans people are gendered right. Not for their sake. But because I'll be damned if the US government is going to tell me what words I can and can't use."

Y'all. So much of graphic design is just: "Is this readable?" If the text is an appropriate size, with adequate space, margins and contrast from the background, you're halfway there. After that, just please stop jamming so much stuff on one page. Let me breathe.

The big change here that I think puts a stake in the heart of the Sentiment The AIDS Memorial Quilt was in 1985, with over 100k names on it. In 2026 we're moving towards a once weekly pill that is almost totally effective at suppressing the virus.

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

air travel is one of those experiences that has gotten monotonically worse over my entire lifetime

question though: has *anything* in the last 40+ years genuinely gotten *better*?

like, there's *more* stuff, sure, but is any of it *better*?

'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)

An embroidery hoop containing a sewn landscape from above. It shows a forest on the right, a line of fire and charred ground with smoke on the left. The smoke is felted wool.

WA workers under UFW contract are clearing off leaves for better growth and production of the wine grapes. "Miguel" says: Chateau Ste Michelle cares about us. When temps reach 95° we're sent home. In hot weather they bring us in early so we can work when it's safer." #WeFeedYou

Guys will listen to male influencer bullshit about needing to have a six pack and manipulate everyone and meanwhile women will go “you know who is the sexiest fucking guy I’ve ever seen?” and post this

"We are going through a period of anxiety and uncertainty. Every two hours the news changes, with some saying there's a truce and others saying there isn't." To be completely honest, I don't think I've ever seen him this disheartened. Please show him some love and donate if you can. 💚🙏 2/2

If you want to know what it’s like to work at a public library, imagine working at a community center/video store but everyone who comes in has fallen through a time rip. They don’t know how a printer works, but they need to fax these important documents five minutes before we close… 1/

"The Boss Needs You..." prints are restocked in all sizes! I have t-shirts, tank tops, and stickers too. willburrows.art/shop Also - I have an 18"x24" copy with a 1/4" tear at the top edge that I'll sell for 25% off. The tear would be completely concealed if you plan to frame it.

A comic book-style digital drawing of Miles O'Brien organizing Rom and Leeta in Quark's Bar over Guinness and snail juice. It says "The boss needs you, you don't need them! Labor is entitled to all it creates."

A digital painting based on a scene from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Jim, Bones, and Spock have their backs to the viewer and the face of God looms above them in shades of blue and cyan. Spock is shielding his eyes while Jim has his index finger raised to ask God a question. Text in the lower half of the image says "attack and dethrone God."
