This article is poorly thought out trash. He presents the false choice of either taking the right-wing hateful position, or being silent. He doesn't look at all of the athletes and sports personalities that speak with clarity on political issues from the position of kindness shared by 80%+ of people

one very weird downside to spending weeks at a time working on a series of episodes on a single topic are the content gobbling crawlers that make shoddy AI transcriptions of podcasts. if I google something too niche the top results are just AI generated summaries of what I wrote last week.
