I've said this before but I'll sing their praises again: ButWhyTho is the best experience I've had writing for any outlet. The editing process was in-depth but a collaboration, not a one-sided beatdown. It made me a better writer. Support this site. They truly deserve it.

I was flicking through the channels, found “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.” I’ve been watching it for half an hour now. It has that really great and propulsive “every scene is the best scene” energy, where it just moves from one great set-up to another.
It's actually good when you cut stuff out of a movie. Most of the job in the editing bay is figuring out how much stuff you can get rid of while still keeping the story, good pacing, and good tone. It's fun, it feels like a magic trick!

Teach empathy and keeping one’s hands to yourself, absolutely. But we also have to teach consequence in such a way that boys can tell us what they did wrong, rather than us simply telling them. They have to recognize it and be able to hold themselves and peers accountable.
We have to raise boys to be better. Whether that’s as fathers, uncles, brothers, teachers, or whatever formative role we play as men to boys. This Cornell rape goes beyond an understanding consent but understanding a masculine culture that must be eradicated from an early age.
