Sharing a big update: I started a group at the MPINAT in Göttingen! We will develop AI for analyzing how proteins interact in the cellular environment based on cutting edge imaging. This appointment is in parallel to the university, where I will retain my current group.

New preprint 📢 Thrilled to share our long-awaited work on the role of RSX in marsupial X-inactivation. This was a huge team effort over the years, led by @aureliencourtois.bsky.social @sermenchero.bsky.social Sugako Ogushi and Waz Varsally, that allowed us to set up genome editing in opossum embryos

Preprints are used in evaluations in most sensible funding bodies, including ERC, and should be THE evaluation tool of the work. That ‘come back when you have published the work’ states where we are at, the degradation of Science that we are achieving.

Many thanks to organisers and @snsf.ch for a meeting of academic parity movement, european dialog against academic bullying. Many valuable discussions and important points on making academia a better and a more fair place for researchers across all career stages
