108 PRs in eight days, up from an average of 5-10 PRs total per week. I think I may have found something pretty cool! Loop engineering, using a combination of Obsidian and Claude's /loop function. Link to a sample repo to try it out in the blog post! brittany-ellich.offprint.app/a/3mrjj34puv...

People are still talking about what to call the permissioned data protocol. It's not the Authenticated Transfer Protocol, it's the Authorized Transfer Protocol. We could call it the AT protocol, or atproto for short!
Want to distribute compute to members of your organization in an ATProto native way? Check out socialweb.computer!
This is a spec for ATProto accounts to request and advertise (compute) resources.

Following the general release and tentative pro-plan for @roomy.space here's a transparency report & vision for our proto-company's financials. 1. Seed Money 2. The Deal - for Roomy contributors 3. Outstanding Debts - to Roomy contributors -> a replicable model for purpose-driven companies.
An equitable company

I’m gonna say some insane shit at the event tonight it’s gonna start a billion discourses I better see you all at @pdx.atproto.camp tonight
By the way, there is still time to join us for our meetup in Portland. Jump on that commercial plane or ask a techbro billionaire friend to borrow their private jet. You can always join from remote. stream.place got you covered.
Helping a friend install @tranquil.farm on his server today. It was a long, tough sell but we landed it 🫡
I love building tools I need to build the tools I need to build the tools I need to build the software I want to build.
NEXT WEEK! RSVP to hang out and see all the cool things being built in the PDX atmosphere!
📣 7/7 6PM at @codetv.dev studio! ATProto PDX Meetup featuring Graze Social’s founder, @devingaffney.com, who will tell us all about the new @cocore.dev co-op compute experiment + time for demos and discussions! RSVP here:
To avoid any confusion, let's add a tooltip showing the current value. An ugly one that bounces in all directions! css-tip.com/wiggly-range... Now, the range slider is perfect, no one can say otherwise!
Who said range sliders need to be straight and boring?! Hey CSS, distort the line! 〰️ css-tip.com/wiggly-range... Another funny demo powered by border-shape, scroll-driven animations, and more The HTML code? Only an input element (no extra code is needed)
I spent several hours today, away from the code, writing about Gifthood. It's likely the longest blog post I have ever written. Might make for some good weekend reading for atproto and decentralized web folks alike.
The Condition of Giving
Why I'm building a gifting community on a network you actually own, and what that has to do with a couch, a geohash, and the open web.

Make a leaflet, make one today Your pub can be many things! Like, say… A fun lil blog A cool product log A journal of fog A dog catalog! For rants about pants That reward second glance Or poems on toast For folks to repost A simple page; a whole website A place to publish day and night!
Again? 50 stars is crazy y'all, thank you 😁
Caddy module to require at-proto authentication and restrict routes to DIDs
No one owns the open social web. Everyone owns the open social web.
Idk if you even realize how big of a jewel this is A movement can (and probably has to) consist of people who don’t even like each other but are still pushing towards the same ends, using different tactics, etc
What's the latest on local atproto setups for development? Local pds, plc, relays, firehose... Want to be able to test stuff without broadcasting to the web.
“Hypertext is a powerful medium and method here because it can produce and preserve a plurality of readings through visible links and traces, rather than collapsing interpretation into a single takeaway via AI summaries or siloed interpretive communities”
The AT Proto app that I have been working on over the last ~12 days is nearing a first beta. Introducing @gifthood.community: A neighborly way to give and receive, freely, built on the AT Protocol. We will start in Portland neighborhoods soon. Let's find out if this concept works on the open web.

This is really cool so far. I've felt like I was missing a nice, focused reader app for standard.site.
