Has anyone explained to the league or teams that XX-XY Athletics is a hate group? If they wouldn’t allow swastikas or Proud Boys to promote their views at a game, they shouldn’t allow this group’s messaging either.

I cannot stress this enough - the side claiming to “protect children” are now posting the names of children they claim to be trans, photos of those children to help people identify them, and the name of the school they attend. It is impossible to overstate the level of danger for these children.

This post just popped up on my Facebook from a page with tens of thousands of followers. Behind the black box are the names of 10 children the OP is alleging to be trans. The post also include photos of all 10 children, and the name of the schools they attend. They’re now doxxing minors.

I'm sorry, but if you spend a whole paragraph defending Sophie Cunningham having the opinion that trans women in sports is akin to hurting young girls you cannot be mad when the political machine driving that public opinion uses media attention to demean the league. This genuinely made me furious.

Pretty wild that the WNBA is deciding apparently to squander all the good will it built with the community who has spent an obscene amount of money on tickets and merch and formed the base of their success. I check Facebook 1-2x a month for family stuff. Turns out a few days ago my dad made a long post begging for understanding about trans people by his fellow boomers. Last paragraphs are below. Dad doesn’t always get it 100% right. He doesn’t need to. He loves and defends me; that’s all that matters

H. I have a trans daughter. She struggled to learn who she was. She finally " got it" several years ago and has transitioned into a beautiful adult woman. I've seen the struggle up close. She has been mocked and beaten for being herself. I love her. Personally I dont think I have the strength of character to do as she has, should I have been in that circumstance. G. And finally..l just had to get this off my chest as I read, see and overhear uneducated, bigoted posts, stories, and conversation. Here's a testimony of a parent of a beautiful child..there are more of us than you know. Hope this helps. If I offends you..buh bye. If you learned something..youre welcome. IYKYK. It’s really horrifying because the second any trans person wins ANY event no matter its context it’s used as a precursor to showing this made up disproportionate advantage. Her times are not state champion caliber but the framing is made to feel that way.
