Do you want to see the "big picture" on climate change? Here it is. Emissions are on the left, and include CO2, CH4, N2O, and f-gases. Natural CO2 sinks (from healthy forests & oceans) are on the right. And carbon removal, what little there is, is on the right, too. All expressed as GWP100.

It’s time all energy analysts are told this. It has also happened in Pakistan in under half that time going from 2% to 25% in just 600 days. All Asian and African nations can do this in the next 200 days reducing global oil and gas demand by much more than what’s stuck in Hormuz. Bye bye oil & gas

Four global maps showing near-surface air temperature anomalies for the month of March in 1986-1995, 1996-2005, 2006-2015, and 2016-2025. Most all areas are observing long-term warming, which is largest over the Arctic region and Asia. Anomalies are calculated relative to 1951-1980 from ECMWF ERA5 reanalysis.

There's more happening to weather extremes now than can be explained by thermodynamics, i.e. everything getting warmer, evaporation increasing, the atmosphere holding more energy and water. Also changing: jet stream, polar vortex, planetary waves & Atlantic ocean circulation. buff.ly/3QBapCG
