Just heard of the passing of James Sloyan. He played so many memorable roles in 90s Trek, including Jarok (TNG's The Defector), Dr. Mora Pol (Odo's "dad"), future Alexander Rozhenko, and Jetrel (from Voyager). Such a powerful performer. He will be missed, but he has left a lasting legacy. 🖖

She rummages in his pocket and cheerily answers "Greg's pants!" Then listens for a moments and says, "I'm sorry, he's not in them right now, can I take a message?"

I used to read them. Major disasters, while terrible, were also framed by evangelical churches as titillating...sexy almost.
