We tried "everyone is entitled to an opinion" for three straight decades and all we have to show for it is four thousand cases of measles and a death cult running the government. It's time for people who don't know what they're talking about to shut the fuck up.

Laplace's Demon (1987) was a horror-themed RPG by Hummingbird Soft first released for the PC-88 and 98 in Japan and later, for the Super Famicom in 1995. Set in 1924, players choose a profession then embark on an investigation with others to the haunted mansion, Weathertop Hall. (a ghostly thread)

in this era of everyone willingly shitting in their own pants, it's silly to demand someone shit in a toilet. I no longer use a toilet, it's so much more convenient to just do it in my pants. I shit in my pants before there was this "groupthink consensus" that it's bad to do that

"dont worry, we didn't use LLMs for real art, like writing, or graphics, or sound, we only used it for dumb gross useless basic shit like programming" always the funnest thing to read as a programmer, as someone whose whole career is based on code, whose handwritten library changed the industry etc

The Dead of the Brain re-release coming out soon lets you swap on the fly between any soundtrack from its various releases and it also includes the PC Engine sound effects as a toggle, this is insane and a very good sign for future PC-98 ports.
