I feel like naturally aspirated V6s have fallen out of favor in new vehicles. Its a shame bc around 300hp with no turbo lag or complexity is a great power option for most larger vehicle applications. Midsize and up SUVs/Crossovers, pickups up to 1/2ton, vans/minivans.

7 different champions in the past 10 years in MLB btw. Freaking out because the Dodgers won 3/5 is real loser behavior. Yankees won 4/5 and out spent the rest of the league by an even larger percentage.

You do not get to do the whole "baseball is ruined" thing because the Dodgers gave up two serious prospects, one of whom is 100 years old, for a two-month rental. On this particular thing, your team literally could have done it if they wanted

Owners being cheap, and front offices being extremely averse to any risk, is a bigger issue than the Dodgers. The only team who seems to actually be trying to win every year.

I am begging you not to believe gazillionaire baseball owners when they tell you Skubal going to the Dodgers means we need a salary cap. Competitive balance is not the reason they want a salary cap. They just want to spend less, and with more predictability, on total payroll. That is all.

I don’t buy the “this is a work to get a cap” theories mostly because I don’t think Skubal changes anything about what the owners planned to do and I think Milwaukee/Tampa orgs are notorious cowards when it comes to this. They spooked themselves thinking about losing even with Skubal.
