Researchers from University of Galway are part of an international team working to restore deep-sea coral reefs damaged by bottom trawling by installing artificial reefs. The research has seen 23 artificial reefs placed on the deep seabed off the south-west Porcupine Bank. jrnl.ie/7167699

Did you know that we deny Deaf people in Ireland the opportunity to learn Irish in school? Because it’s deemed that they wouldn’t be able. Without any assessment. Without any comprehension that many Deaf people are learning ISL and English at the same time? And are therefore bilingual?

In his defence, we have absolutely no idea how hot his cousins are.

I urgently wish to know what the Values of Ireland are.

Someone needs to organise a 'legitimate concerns' march/demo for people who are worried about this country's increasingly willing accomodation of the far right. We won't chant or carry placards, but there'll be thousands of us, all wearing black shirts and balaclavas. See how far we get with that.

Subsidies for the road blockers and slop server farms. Increased public transport and electricity costs for everyone else. Great little country.
