I know it sucks, but Dems have got to be prepared to inherit a munitions-and-readiness hole that is going to be expensive to fill, but which will need to be filled. Hardly the only such hole, but it will be a big one.

Hiring quickly is going to be one of the absolutely essential buidling blocks. The biggest barrier to firing any bad actor in govt (and elsewhere in my experience) is how hard it is and how long it takes to get a replacement. And there will be a lot of people we need to replace

The MAHA movement are a bunch of bigoted eugenicist cranks who believe food regulations are government overreach, vaccines kill, children with autism should be sterilized for the good of the gene pool, and an issue like a peanut allergy or celiac disease is a sign of evolutionary inferiority.
These people are genuinely dangerous nuts, and anyone, *ANYONE* who starts ponying up to them and talking about how they actually have a point deserves to be criticized for it.

I know I’m out of step with this website on this (and that’s the website’s problem, not mine) but I find it genuinely repulsive that there’s a guy who’s a designated hate object and even the people who admit there’s derangement syndrome about him is real say 95% of the time that it’s his own fault.
