🧵You can't talk about Natalie Harp w/o talking about how strange she is. This isn't making fun of physique or bearing. It's about obsessive/creepy behavior. And it matters on policy. As a former Republican media consultant, I can tell you that this attack is astonishingly effective w/the public...

A photo of Donald Trump sitting at a desk with national flags on it, seemingly at a meeting in an office. His omnipresent aide, Natalie Harp, is sitting behind him, staring at him with an unnatural smile, her eyes shrouded with pupils not visible.

I also want to add that every single time ICE has physically hurt me, they have grabbed me by my chest. Most of my femme friends have said the same. I will not be surprised if / when we find out about twisted sexual assaults conducted by ICE agents with these gloves.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social · 6d ago

Wow. Proponents of the ICE taser gloves are openly saying that one reason they love the gloves is that they doesn’t leave any marks or proof that they were used, making it harder for people to sue when they’re shocked excessively.

These gloves don't cause neuromuscular incapacitation the way that a taser does. In fact, they only work when applied directly to bare skin. These aren't made for apprehending anyone. These have one and only one use: causing extreme pain to already-restrained captives. In plain language: torture.

Carl T. Bergstrom@carlbergstrom.com · 7d ago

Zero surprise that these are explicitly designed to cause pain without leaving a mark, not to incapacitate. Yes, we're spending $20M to buy ICE agents torture devices.

$1.4B to deploy the National Guard into cities? On top of: -$1.5T for the Pentagon -$240B for ICE and CBP -$1B to refurbish Trump's Qatar jet -$300M for Trump's ballroom -$100M for Trump's golf outings But nothing for working people.

More evidence Trump is totally not serious about getting a nuclear deal with Iran. This agreement will set off a nuclear race in the region, further disincentivizing Iran from limiting its own program.

The American Dream belongs to Americans. It does not belong to the world.
The American dream belongs to Americans.

The fact that VP JD Vance and Richard Grenell went to Romania—on behalf of the Trump Administration— to advocate for Andrew and Tristan Tate, who by all accounts, were rapists running a coercive sex ring, then permitted them to come to Florida, should be a crazy, crazy scandal.

BREAKING: Federal judge finds that Trump's IRS suit was improper because Trump controlled both sides of the litigation. Judge Kathleen Williams also sanctions Trump's lawyers, issues monetary sanctions, and harshly criticizes DOJ's "untenable" conduct. More to come at Law Dork: www.lawdork.com

The Parties used the existence of federal litigation as a means of conferring legitimacy upon a course of action that they were unwilling to subject to judicial review.
The context of the "settlement," the relationships of the people involved in negotiating and approving it, the ethical implications of their conduct, and the Parties' swift efforts to
dismiss this case after the Court raised fundamental jurisdictional questions all support this conclusion. Accordingly, the Court expressly finds that Plaintiffs acted in bad faith.
See Sofaly v. Portfolio Recovery Assocs., LLC, 155 F.4th 289, 295 (3d Cir. 2025) (monetary sanctions were proper under the court's inherent power where the lawyers acted in bad faith and committed fraud on the court by using "their clients to bring
contrived lawsuits"). That finding is enough to invoke the Court's inherent authority. See JTR Enter., LLC V. Columbian Emeralds, 697 F. App'x 976, 986 (11th Cir. 2017) ("The key to invoking a court's inherent power to sanction is a finding of bad faith.") (citation
omitted).

People keep supporting mediocre men and insisting we overlook their flaws. But what if we just held men accountable for their misdeeds and let vastly more competent women with unblemished records have a seat at the table

Emily L. Hauser (she/her) ❌👑@emilylhauser.bsky.social · 2mo ago

What if we made it socially, culturally, & politically untenable to be a man who hurts women? What if we valued women JUST ENOUGH to value women's lives over men's power or talent?

260. Two hundred. And sixty. This is an indefensible misuse of government resources and, in any other administration, an impeachable offense. Even if Trump's claim wasn't complete fiction, the statute of limitations has run and the FBI has no business wasting time investigating this.

Last year ICE said a man tried to murder a female ICE officer while she was trying to arrest him. They swore under oath he grabbed her by the neck and tried to choke her to death. He was even indicted for attempted murder. Problem is, it never happened! Bystander video unraveled the lie.
