Let me tell you, having chronicled Pentagon-style war game on attacking Iran nearly 25 yr ago, every single "surprise," "darkening turn," "narrowing option," spreading warfare," "rising casualties," "no easy exit," etc that comes drip-by-drip is EXACTLY why GHWB WJC GWB OBAMA BiDEN did NOT do this

This is dead on. If the Democrats retake the House and Senate--or even just the House--it could mark the beginning of the end of a 50-year Republican project. If they can't? The GOP will spend the next 2 years destroying all remaining guardrails. Most important midterms of our lives, no question.

A Supreme Court that upholds gerrymandering in one breath and denies any protection from the overt use of race in the next is as destructive to this republic as any court that ever beat down Homer Plessy or Dred Scott. This is a betrayal of everyone who ever fought or died for American civil rights.

For all those who think Dems should rule out impeachment if we re-take the House in Nov because Trump won't be convicted...you have short memories. Trump was impeached before the 2020 election and then he lost. Hearings and investigations matter. Airing the truth matters. The Constitution matters.
