Told you everybody saying it was a good value and good time to buy was just looking for exit liquidity. Right back down. Thursday's sell-off is gonna be something.

You wouldn't have people like Hank Green using AI tools for labor if there wasn't all this pressure to produce, produce, produce to survive. I keep saying this! AI is a labor issue as much as it is every other issue.
I truly believe that generative and agentic AI tools wouldn't flourish if we didn't live in a hyper-capitalistic society where production and labor are the primary ways we measure our success and worth.
The specific focus in this video on the way these tools get under your skin and train you to depend on them is an aspect I personally find existentially terrifying. youtu.be/TtvICev9sBE?...
it is baffling to me that for 15-20 years we have known that authenticity sells and now everyone including small video creators are farming out their production process to the generic-ass-robot-output production machine just absolutely self defeating nonsense behavior
Posting like this took 10 minutes and you both couldn't use your phone to do so, and we only had landline phones unless you were rich enough for a basic brick cellphone that had no reception and you couldn't take or receive calls on the landline when you were online
Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.
I used to have to use a rotary phone. Literally the kind you spin the thingy with using your finger. My first "push button" phone was just a pulse dial phone. It didn't use tones, it mimicked the noise a rotary phone did to dial, so dialing still took FOREVER. Now I just tap a face and video chat 🤷

Part of me wants to work on Guildy Pleasure, the ttrpg where you file paperwork instead of rolling dice, but I'll need to do that after Ledgerbound comes out in a week on the 11th because this might help me work through some old roadblocks store.steampowered.com/app/3315060/...

had to drop $150~ over the past week on gauze, wound care, antibiotics, and other medical materials for a new and stressful health condition that's going to require specialist treatment to fully treat. it may cost me $6,000; a crowdfunding issue for later. for now, any bit helps, thanks
An interesting 15 minute watch with some great quotes to pull from it but really makes me think about how I know very few people that have gone down this road, and that the ones I do are men www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtvI...

if it weren't for the camcorder zooming VHS-ass image quality I'd be afraid of this being AI. quoted post hidden under this quoted post has more context but don't look until AFTER you've watched this, sound on if you've never seen this you're going to find yourself involuntarily doing this out loud

Oh my god I think I found the video.
Bet we could push them down even further with a real high speed rail network.
Air travel has gotten dramatically cheaper That means more people can do it You can still buy first class tickets if you want them
i think the funniest thing about all this is that this isn't like a fantasy pistol with curly bits and magic in it, that's a SOCOM knockoff. there are helldivers out there *right now* who are using it because they don't have enough medals to get anything else off the war bond
This Fortune's Weave art is killing me, dude, she keeps that thang on her
I've been called many things in my life, but "bluesky influencer" might be the most insulting lol That's barely above "content creator"

also I'm just tired of people using "slop" for anything that's not AI, and is just shorthand for "thing I don't like"
ok how about friendscore instead of friendslop. friendslop sounds derogatory and so it’s therefore not a good term. be part of the solution people

"In a press release, EA CEO Andrew Wilson, who was recently awarded an $8 million raise thanks to the success of Battlefield 6 after the people who made Battlefield 6 a success were rewarded with layoffs..." Yeah OK sure yeah

2000 reviews! Well I didn't expect this before we launched but I'll take it. :-)
"saudi arabia owns EA" is going to be the headline you see basically everywhere for this one but "jared kushner is about to use EA as a vehicle for trump administration bribes" is equally relevant imo
