I like stuff--all kinds of stuff. (She/Her)

I saw yesterday that some right-wing outlets were running stories about me, which I’m used to. But this time I’m going to say something about it, because these were framed to imply that I was aligned with their own transphobia. ⬇️

In Minneapolis, people are literally singing resistance before marching to the hotels where ICE agents are staying—inviting them to defect and join us in solidarity. It’s an action rooted in compassion, courage, and collective humanity. Transforming fear into shared power.

We need to talk about the rise of "smol bean fascism" where you have all the guns and the immunity but the really scary people are the ones with whistles and phone cameras and they're giving you generational trauma and ptsd by filming you killing people for no reason

coolest part about minnesota is that people, unprompted except by state violence, will leave their homes to stand up for neighbors that they've never met, and maybe never will. we're pretty introverted but we hear the bell when it rings.

To Pittsburgh bus drivers, esp 71B, y'all are keeping this danged city going. Since 5:30am I've been seeing bus drivers pushing stuck cars and unsticking stuck buses with physics and magic. Yall are the truest MVPs, and I wish I had more followers so you might see this. Thank you! You deserve raises

Walz: "To Americans who are watching this, I've got a question for you: What side do you want to be on? The side of an all powerful federal govt that can kill, injury, menace, & kidnap its citizens off the streets? Or on the side of a nurse at the VA hospital who died bearing witness to such govt?"

It is ok not to watch the videos. It is ok not to watch them again and again. If you do watch, research shows that playing a game like tetris can short circuit the trauma response of intrusive memories. We all need to stay as strong as possible. www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/vide...

Can Playing Tetris Make Trauma Easier to Manage?

Research suggests that playing a video game could actually help reduce some symptoms of trauma.

Just remembered that a cabinet-level official tweeted out “ICE > MN” yesterday. Incredible how after all this the Trump administration still manages to perpetually shock us with the depths of its contempt for the people it purports to govern

what this should make clear to everyone in this country is that it does not matter who you are, there's no "it could never happen to me" you can be a white woman who drives around with stuffed animals in her car, and they will still kill you in cold blood and call you a domestic terrorist

I just can’t believe some people chose threads in the Twitter exodus. It’s like you had the choice of staying with your angry, alcoholic father or your overworked, uptight mom, and you chose a kooky aunt who you reconnected with after she sent you a FarmVille notification out of the blue

to have an affair with one longshot presidential candidate twice your age that you’re profiling may be regarded as a misfortune; to have two looks like carelessness
